Heated games for cool heads! The unmatched success of the poker event series FULLTILTPOKER.NET MILLION EURO CHALLENGE mirrors the successful boom in Germany and Austria. In 2008 there were 12.500 poker fans that participated in the biggest Live-Freeroll-Poker tournament. And also in 2009 FullTiltPoker.net, poker sports elite group, (Gus Hansen, Chris Ferguson, Mike Matusow, Jenifer Harman, Patrick Antonius, and Phil Ivey) were brought together with the fans, they were celebrated like Rock stars all together. Avantgarde was responsible for the accompanying events press work as well as the organizing of interviews with profis from the USA, Germany, and Austria. As a result Avantgarde PR takes care of the FullTiltPoker.net brand in and around the areas of presswork and carries-out PR activities for exhibitions, TV-shows and co-ops.

Munich, Cologne and Hamburg are the names of the mobile event arena stations for the o2 World on tour 2009. That’s where events in the categories of Music, Dance, Fashion, Cinema, Game and Comedy take place. The motto: Exclusive. Live. Free of charge. The overall objective of the o2 World on tour is to strengthen the brand and to position itself within a highly valued entertainment culture. This year the starting point of the tour is in Munich, cities such as Cologne and Hamburg follow additionally. In total 15 o2 events are taking place, with amongst others Söhne Mannheims, Ich + Ich, Fanta 4, QUATSCH Comedy Club, Kinofilmpremiere Horst Schlämmer. Avantgarde PR is responsible for the accompanying events press work.

Pool Fashion Alarm

High-End Fashion with the O2 World on Tour. The mobile event arena creates and enthuses with live events, making stops in Munich, Cologne, and Hamburg in the areas of music, cinema, comedy, as well as games and fashion. In cooperation with the multi-label-store POOL the 'POOL Fashion Alarm' is staged. In the O2 World, Pool presents before 1000 guests the current fall/winter collection of leading designers. The highlight of the evening: Dean and Dan from DSSQUARED live on stage. The show with premier labels such as Foley +Corinna, Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten, and Maison Martin Margiela will be shown accompanied by a 270° light projection. Avantgarde conceives of the relevant PR communication concept and has undertaken the implementation of the entire event. The accompanying presswork has lured in 41 fashion editors and the local press to this extraordinary fashion event.

Before FIFA 10’s opening day, Avantgarde organizes the press launch with consumer and special interest media. National football team player Marcell Jansen and E-games profis “play hardcore” in Hamburg’s East Hotel along with journalists under the motto „Beat a Pro“. Female journalists are invited to an exclusive secret training known as „beat your boyfriend“. Electronic Arts is the worldwide leader in the area of interactive entertainment software. For the launch of FIFA 10, Avantgarde distinguishes itself by being responsible for the corresponding presswork as well as the strategy and implementation of press-events.

Clothes make the man – and bring color and excitement to life. Why not stage a new fashion collection for once that follows this philosophy? Take the new fall collection of Munich’s Ludwig Beck department store, for instance. With a play staged by Leander Haußmann in Ludwig Beck’s display window, they were presented to a broad public – the surprised passers-by on the street. This not only brought the “Department store of the senses” slogan to life, it also happened to attract a great deal of media attention.

It’s carried out via MSN Messenger. Anyone who films his or her private playback performance and uploads it to the Internet has the chance to be crowned winner by the audience and to appear in a real video with up-and-coming band Shaka Ponk.

Nike ACG is celebrating the 20th birthday of the brand with the 2009 spring and summer collection. The concept of a “rich in tradition” product will be newly designed and carried-out for the fall/winter season. The focus will be on Sporty performance and flexibility. The look plays on the printing and colours of the original series from 1989, during which the manufacturing process and the unique materials of 2009 will be reflected. The collection is comprised of a variety of products- from laser cut tops, extending from a duvet jacket that changes colour depending on the weather, to a large proportion of Nike Storm Fit- jackets.
